Clark brings over 20 years' successful sales experience in the banking industry to treasury solutions company.

LONDON - e-portals, the first UK company to develop Web-based treasury
services using Microsoft's .Net framework, today announced the appointment
of David Clark as head of business development. David was previously with
MKI Frustum where he was responsible for the EMEA sales and marketing
function of the OPICS Treasury solution.
As head of business development, David will focus on three specific
objectives as part of e-portals overall growth strategy: establishing
strategic and commercial relationships with key early adopter banking and
software partners; building awareness of e-portals' X-Treasury product set
as the first solution to harness next generation internet technology for the
treasury systems marketplace; and deploying the appropriate infrastructure
to support e-portals sales and marketing operations.
Hal Hovland, e-portals chief executive officer, commented: " We are
delighted to have someone of David's calibre on board. David has
demonstrated through his career in the banking industry that he is one of the very best in the business and we are very happy that he has joined us.David will help us move forward as an organisation and further develop our X-Treasury .Net solution set - building low-cost, fast to market solutions to long standing treasury problems such as global limits and risk management."

"e-portals has identified a significant gap in the market by being the first to truly understand and take advantage of the opportunities presented by microsoft's .Net framework and the power of next generation internet technology.Net technology can be used to revolutionise the nature of treasury solutions and the wider financial services marketplace. e-portals is way ahead in terms of truly understanding the technology, and actually developing specific product components. My role will be to work with key customers and partners and help them fully understand and realise the business potential of this technology."
Prior to his role at MKI Frustum, David has held a number of key positions including UK sales manager for IBIS Banking Systems, Head of Sales and Marketing for Third Wave Systems and various sales and marketing positions for BIS Banking Systems.
