DerivaTech Attributes its 1472 Percent Revenue Growth to Risk Management
CHICAGO, IL -- September 26, 2001 – DerivaTech, a provider of best-of-breed
software for currency derivatives has ranked 3rd in Deloitte & Touche's
prestigious "Fast 50" Program for Greater Chicagoland, a ranking of the 50
fastest growing technology companies in the area.  Rankings are based on
five-year revenue growth, from 1996 - 2000.  On September 20, 2001, Deloitte
& Touche announced the ranked Greater Chicagoland Technology Fast 50 list.
DerivaTech's CEO, Nicholas Hatzopoulos, attributes the company's 1472% revenue growth over the past five years to DerivaTech's dedication to providing unique and timely customer solutions coupled with our advancements in risk management analytics.  Mr. Hatzopoulos said, "Our team’s dedication to understanding our clients’ business needs along with our advancements in the technology of risk management have allowed us to receive recognition as the premier provider of solutions in our market.  This validation from Deloitte and Touche is a testament to the value we constantly strive to deliver to our customers."

To qualify for the Fast 50, companies must have had operating revenues of at
least $ 50,000 in 1996 and $1,000,000 in 2000, must be a public or private
company headquartered in Greater Chicagoland, and be a "technology company"
defined as a company that produces technology, manufactures a technology
product, or devotes a high percentage of effort to research and development
of technology.
Winners of the 21 regional Fast 50 programs in the United States are automatically entered in the Deloitte & Touche Technology Fast 500 program,
which ranks the nation's top 500 fastest growing technology companies
