London - Reuters, the global information, news and technology group, today
launched Reuters Refresh, the UK's first ever juice bar and information lab
specifically designed for business professionals. The opening of the high
tech venue in Fleet Street underlines Reuters commitment to using cutting
edge technology and showcases its position as a leading global news and
information provider.

Reuters Refresh, opens its doors on 18 June. It offers internet access and
up to the minute text and video news and photographs from Reuters 2,500
journalists in 160 countries displayed on a state-of-the-art six and a half
meter long screen.

Reuters customers can also use smart cards to access the latest real time
financial information and analytics from Reuters flagship service, 3000

Compaq have provided the terminals and the servers for the information lab,
and leading consultants Hodges Associates were responsible for the
innovative design of the venue.

Freshly squeezed and blended fruit juice will be available from the food bar
managed by leading fast food and fresh juice retailer, Crussh. A wide
selection of freshly made meals and snacks are also available.
