CityIQ, market leaders in Consultancy to Securities Industry and Financial Technology, has announced this week the appointment of George Johnson as Executive Director. George, previously a partner at PriceWaterhouseCoopers ('PWC') for 17 years and a senior figure in their securities industry practice, has joined CityIQ to further develop and broaden its consultancy services.
At PWC, George led significant strategic, operational and regulatory compliance assignments for fund managers, stockbrokers, clearing firms and custodians in global securities markets. One of his particular specialisms was the retail wealth management and broking sector. His expertise and knowledge will compliment CityIQ’s already highly respected consultancy and the appointment reflects the company’s intention to build its brand and continue to increase market share.
