XRT and Cashware Partner to Provide Secure Online Financial Transactions Through Notary Exchange TrustTM Service

As part of its overall Internet strategy, XRT has formed a technology partnership with Cashware to provide secure online financial transactions. XRT recently signed a partnership agreement with Cashware, the leading supplier of security and trust infrastructure services for B to B exchanges.

With the increased growth of online marketplaces and the adoption of Internet technologies by large corporations, electronic financial transactions have introduced a number of new issues. These include:
* message security and integrity
* validation of transactions
* certificate management and certificate authorities
* information archiving
* payment security and interoperability with existing information systems

Through this new partnership, XRT and Cashware will provide a global solution to address the issues that have accompanied the growth of e-market and e-banking transactions on the Internet.

The new service, known as Notary Exchange TrustTM, enables private-sector companies to make use of existing treasury and secure financial flow modules over the public security and trust infrastructure built by Cashware. This system is interoperable with all leading certificate authorities (PKI) for local or cross-border exchanges.

Notary Exchange Trust is part of XRT’s Internet Collaborative Management strategy, which enables companies to organize their private infrastructure using new information technologies. Companies can implement these
technologies for their own internal use, primarily to manage secure transactions involving accounting, finance and a range of monetary operations, including coverage and payment activities.

In the private sector, XRT will develop user identification features that can be integrated in existing management applications to control employee authorization levels within the enterprise.

XRT provides expertise and a number of leading solutions for international treasury management. As a solutions provider to multinational companies, XRT provides support in revamping information systems for today’s Internet so
that companies can realize their collaborative management objectives and build electronic payment centers for online sales. Existing XRT partnerships with JD Edwards, PeopleSoft and SAP will help make Notary Exchange Trust a
realistic solution for developing secure electronic transactions and internal and external exchanges.

Cashware has created a product that tightly integrates state-of-the-art security and trust technologies with robust, high-performance operating system architectures. The company has extensive expertise in public key
infrastructure (PKI) technologies and provides consulting and integration services along with an industrial platform that combines all the necessary components in the security and trust chain. Cashware’s technological solutions, primarily dedicated to certificate management and electronic
archiving services, provide the necessary guarantees for ensuring legally binding online transactions.

Notary Exchange Trust is the first collaborative effort between a leader in the risk and cash management field and an operator of an Internet-based security and trust infrastructure.
