We are seeking a Senior Sales professional with an IT Consulting Services Sales background to deliver business development for our client with a specific focus on their presence in either the Insurance or Payments and Retail Banking Sectors. The role will lead business development across these sectors.

Our client is an independent IT advisory firm with expertise across every layer of the technology stack, from business applications and platforms down to core infrastructure. They are very well known and their consultants have decades of experience helping clients promote best practice in every IT discipline.
In this role, you will be responsible for:

• Expanding the sales pipeline by developing new clients in the Insurance or Payments and Retail Banking sectors
• Growing business with two large existing clients within these sectors
• Driving business opportunities through the full business development life cycle to closure
• Working with the global sales teams to maximise global revenues
• Negotiating with clients to establish long term relationships, rate cards and engagement processes
• Advising on the development of new services using your knowledge and market feedback
• Working with consultants and management where required to support the sales cycle
• Managing and driving the creation and delivery of proposals, reviewing their content and creating commercial terms
• Maintaining accurate sales information within Salesforce
• Contributing to sales strategy

Our client would like to meet with consulting sales professionals who have:

• Extensive experience selling Information Technology and Management Consultancy Professional Services
• Experience of working with clients within the Insurance (Life and/or Non-Life), Payments or Retail Banking sectors
• A high level of comfort communicating with customers at all management levels including “C” level executives
• Experience selling to IT management on topics including:
IT Strategy
Technology & Architecture
Cloud Adoption
IT Risk & Security
Change Management
• A good understanding of industry trends and themes
• Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
• The ability to think, write and present in a logical and structured way
