Overview
DataSynapse GridServer is a service execution platform that dynamically scales enterprise application services based on performance and business requirements. GridServer provides a simplified approach to enabling business critical application components to execute across the entire available computing infrastructure -- the “grid”.
With GridServer, application services launch as planned, while the scheduling, management, and allocation of the computing resources becomes automatic as defined by business policies, and application or user priorities. Reacting in real-time, GridServer assigns the necessary grid resources based on these priorities and distributes work across the available infrastructure resources.
As a result a single application service execution environment can scale to 30,000-plus CPUs spanning multiple, datacenters or geographically disperse locations. GridServer eliminates the need to build out new CPUs and server silos in order to manage peak workloads and computation intensive processes.
By distributing the computing workload over available resources, GridServer enables businesses to deploy new and improved services faster and more cost effectively – with the lowest possible datacenter server costs.
GridServer provides
- A simple approach to reliably scale enterprise service execution by automatically scheduling, managing and executing services based on policies and business priorities
- A distributed environment to work across available compute resources that automatically adapts as policies, priorities, workload or availability change
- Guaranteed, automatic recovery of service execution in the event of hardware failure
- Unparalleled Performance and Scaling
- Centralized management of GridServer resources
