Managing liquidity is essential for maintaining a bank’s costs and safeguarding its reputation. Logica Payments Manager (LPM) has been designed and built to specifically address the real-time management of intra-day liquidity across domestic and international payments. It provides automated processes that implement business rules to control liquidity usage and availability during the day.
 
LPM’s decision support tools enable treasury staff to plan and implement strategies ensuring the bank’s ‘capacity to pay’ in each currency is met and is optimised on an intra-day basis. This enables the treasury’s financial and service-level commitments to be maintained and managed centrally, whilst keeping costs and risk to a minimum.
 

LPM takes control of a bank’s liquidity by providing:
