CalculationEngine

The CalculationEngine lies at the centre of the unfied risk and regulatory platform and is shared by RiskPro and RegPro (along with the DataFoundation repository).  The CalculationEngine's output is the building blocks on which all analytics is based.

All risk and regulatory reports rely on a common set of facts and assumptions.  The CalculationEngine incorporates all input data pertaining to financial transactions, counterparties, behaviour, markets and business strategy to generate a projection of future cash flows and other quantitative measures.  This output serves as a consistent base from which the full spectrum of risk and regulatory analysis is built.

The strenght of the CalculationEngine lies in its ability to process flexible combinations of a broad range of inputs, real or simulated:
