Connectivity Manager

The DealHub Connectivity Manager provides a strategic tool for low latency streaming of prices to various channels, e-FX multi-bank portals and proprietary platforms in spot, forwards and outrights, via high speed DealHub Sell Side Price Distribution Automated Trading interfaces (DHSATI).

The Connectivity Manager has been specifically designed to handle extremely high trade throughput via the DealHub low latency message bus, to manage the ever-increasing e-trading volumes and execution venues, to perform market data and credit check validations and to handle two-way communication of events between sophisticated algorithmic trading software including APAMA and Coral8.

Connectivity Manager facilitates Pooled Credit Checking for clients trading with the bank across multiple platforms.

The Connectivity Manager comprises of different layers; the top layer comprises of a series of plug-in DealHub Sell side Automated Trading Interfaces (DHSATI). New venues can simply be added by adding new DHSATI. The middle layer comprises of an event/job manager which uses a scriptable language to perform an array of tasks according to the business logic and workflow defined for the specified instrument. New instruments can be added and new workflows created, once licensed. The bottom layer interfaces to other DealHub components or the other bank’s systems which the job manager calls using the scriptable language. This provides flexibility for the bank to extend the system or replace certain systems over time.
