BIC Directory
SWIFT’s BIC Directory is an electronic, downloadable file, that contains details of the financial institutions and corporations, such as the ISO 9362 Bank Identifier Codes (BICs) (208 countries) and the national payments system participation codes (200+ payments sytems, including TARGET 2). Further it contains the ISO lists of countries, currencies and holidays. The file is updated monthly. The directory also can be obtained in paper form, and can be consulted online (BIC Online Professional).
The BIC Directory is a must for those that prepare, validate and repair cross-border payments.
