Through Interactive Data’s Pricing and Reference Data business, Interactive Data offers a wealth of global securities data designed to support financial institutions’ and investment funds' pricing activities, securities operations, research and portfolio management.  Interactive Data has served the investment community worldwide for over 30 years, and offers both depth and breadth of coverage. 

Interactive Data Pricing and Reference Data collects, edits, maintains and delivers data on more than 6 million securities, including daily evaluations for approximately 2.5 million fixed income and international equity issues.  The business specialises in ‘hard-to-get’ information and evaluates many ‘hard-to value’ instruments.  Interactive Data also has a substantial reference data collection and quality control process, which supports its evaluated services operation, as well as its customers’ need to maintain their Security Master File.   

Interactive Data delivers end-of-day and intra-day data by web-based browser facilities and coded datafeeds.  The feeds are available in a number of standard ‘off the shelf’ formats that have been developed to work with some 250 third party software applications.  The feeds can also be customised for individual clients.
