Overview

GL Clearvision is a real-time middle-office matching and clearing system for derivatives providing true STP between front-office, exchange and back-office systems.

Via a full integration with trading systems and direct connections to clearing houses, it matches orders with executed trades in real-time and sends clearing instructions to clearing houses, including automatic Give Out and Take In process.

  • Full integration with SunGard GL Stream workstation and extensive connectivity with 3rd party trading systems
  • Downstream link with major back-office systems, including SunGard’s GL Ubix and GMI, to achieve front-to-back STP
  • Connectivity with 34 cash and derivatives exchange gateways
  • Native scalability supporting volume peaks via the multi-gateway connectivity of our Smartgateways
  • Automatic matching and clearing of executed orders with trades from the clearing house once transactions have been linked to the appropriate customer account
  • Automatic acceptance of incoming give-in and management of give-up based on give-in details
  • Intraday reconciliation detecting trading errors and clearing control mechanism to reduce counterparty risk
