Overview

CityVision RTP has powerful real-time data transformation components. It supports many-to-many mappings from sources to destinations, including records, pages and chains with conversion between formats.

User friendly GUIs - the Page Definer, Record Definer and Route Definer - make set-up as simple as possible with ad-hoc, template-driven and bulk configuration options – no more hand editing text files or mapping scripts.

Key mapping components are the Page Builder, Record Builder and Router.

For example you can:

Send one source page to multiple destinations, using different names for each
Build page sets from a records and chains, with automatic updating
Map page fragments from several pages to a single composite page
‘Shred’ pages to produce records

Symbology mapping allows you to change the names of pages, records and fields between each source and destination. This means that data need only be entered or retrieved once regardless of the number of destinations and output formats. Now you can automate your publishing processes using fewer staff, saving time and money while increasing data volume and accuracy.

The mapping components are fully integrated with other RTP middleware and can be located at any node in the StarNet, for processing and bandwidth efficiency.
