FinScan Unveils AML’s First Integrated Solution for Screening and Enhanced Due Diligence

12 April 2018

Innovative Systems, Inc., a global leader in the development and delivery of high-performance enterprise data and risk management solutions, today announced the integration of Thomson Reuters CLEAR® investigations and public records database into its FinScan® platform. This latest collaboration creates the industry’s first combined screening and enhanced due diligence solution available on a single platform.

“This extension of our relationship with Thomson Reuters CLEAR offers a seamless, efficient workflow for screening and enhanced due diligence,” said Joel Borsh, FinScan’s vice president, North America. “Now, more than ever, the compliance community is looking to achieve cost savings through automation of these processes to reduce the time and resources associated with customer due diligence.”

CLEAR on the FinScan platform enables compliance professionals to perform screening, conduct due diligence investigations, and create audit trail documentation on a single screen from a single platform. By providing consistent, comprehensive, and defensible investigative results, CLEAR can uncover hidden risks and understand complicated associations or relationships in a customer’s or vendor’s history.

“In today’s regulatory environment, our customers are focused on risk mitigation and are looking for more ways to increase efficiency and accuracy by streamlining screening and enhanced due diligence,” said Chris Maguire, managing director of the Corporate segment for Thomson Reuters. “This collaboration, bringing together FinScan, World-Check data and Thomson Reuters CLEAR, offers a customizable case management, screening and due diligence solution for our customers.”
