With the start of the new year, CoCoNet AG introduces a new Executive Board of Management: From now on, Dr. Christian Schmidt as Chairman, Axel Wiethoff and Björn Hassing will steer the company’s future.
Dr. Christian Schmidt (54) has been a member of the Management Board of CoCoNet AG since 2016. Prior to this position, he worked at Deutsche Bank and as a corporate consultant for banks and insurance companies. As Chairman of the Board, he brings broad digital banking know-how and excellent strategic skills to CoCoNet’s future development. Axel Wiethoff (50) and Björn Hassing (36) have long been successful Managing Directors within the CoCoNet Group.
The company founders and former Board Members Lothar Wosnitza and Ulrich Blank as well as the former CEO, Ulrich Lischewski, change to CoCoNet’s Supervisory Board at the same time. All three remain main shareholders of the company.
