Compass Plus, an international provider of retail banking software and electronic payments systems to financial institutions, announced that Almaty, Kazakhstan-based Alfa-Bank has launched its processing center into commercial operation based on the TranzWare product suite from Compass Plus.
The launch of the in-house processing center enables Alfa-Bank to effectively develop its retail banking business, including payment cards, gradually widening the line of services and products available to their customers based on modern technologies. In order to implement the development strategy of card and retail business in Kazakhstan, Alfa-Bank set out to implement a flexible and highly functional processing solution, integrated with the remote banking channel management system.
According to the IT Department Director at Alfa-Bank, Ruslan Hismatullin: “The launch of the in-house processing center is another step in building a modern and hi-tech bank. Using the expertise of Compass Plus has made it possible to implement this project at the minimum cost. The extreme flexibility of the TranzWare-based technological solutions enables Alfa-Bank to quickly create and launch the latest banking products into the market. The innovation implemented by the bank complies with the international security standards and high demands set by payments systems.”
The project included the implementation of a wide range of TranzWare products, namely: TranzWare CMS, TranzWare Online, TranzWare Card Factory, TranzWare Messaging Gate, which provide the full functionality of the processing center. The bank’s IT specialists also successfully implemented the functionality of the Alfa Click Internet banking system based on TranzWare Internet Banking.
In the near future Alfa-Bank plans to raise its status to Principal Member in the Visa payment system and to launch the Internet commerce project, including support of 3D Secure.
