Interactive Data renames eSignal division

Unification of eSignal Under Interactive Data Brand Designed to Increase Global Awareness of Company’s Offerings in the Institutional Marketplace.

Interactive Data Corporation, a leading provider of financial market data, analytics and related solutions, today announced that its eSignal division has been renamed as Interactive Data.

During the past several years, Interactive Data’s eSignal products have become core elements of the Company’s suite of offerings for the global wealth management market. By unifying the eSignal division under the Interactive Data brand, the Company plans to continue its efforts to more closely draw together its real-time market data and hosted technology services and solutions from across the Company. This branding initiative further emphasizes the institutional focus of the Company’s comprehensive suite of offerings and will help the Company further capitalize on opportunities in the wealth management market.

Interactive Data will retain the eSignal name for those services that have been designed specifically for active traders and individual investors, including eSignal, eSignal OnDemand, eSignal, Advanced GET Edition, and eSignal Market Scanners. These eSignal-branded services, which offer streaming, real-time financial market data, news, analytics and decision-support tools, will continue to leverage Interactive Data’s extensive content, infrastructure and resources.

Interactive Data has a long-standing reputation for developing high-quality financial information services and products that are used by thousands of financial institutions and active traders, as well as hundreds of software and service providers around the world. The renaming of the eSignal division will help to advance Interactive Data’s “One Company” approach of operating as a single global enterprise.
