Co-founder of BI-SAM Group, Christophe VOLARD has been appointed Chief Operating Officer North America, based in New York. Previously based in Paris as Managing Director, Christophe has also been highly involved in Product Management and Account Management since the creation of BI-SAM in 2000. With over 18 years of experience in the Asset Management Software industry, he is reinforcing the groupâs presence in North America.
His first moves have been the appointments of Patrick Schumacher, who will be based in the companyâs new office in Tacoma - West Coast -, and of Adrien Pinatton, who will be based in New York.
Patrick Schumacher joined BI-SAM on July 19, 2010 as North America Head of Client Service and Implementation. With over 18 years of Performance and Attribution experience in the US for Frank Russell, Russell Mellon and StatPro, Pat brings a wealth of experience to BI-SAMâs North America operations. He has been involved in many performance and attribution implementation projects and his valuable knowledge will aid and facilitate any performance and attribution project undertaken.
Adrien Pinatton holds an Engineer School diploma, with a specialisation in Computer Science and Mathematics applied to Finance and Insurance; he is joining the North America Implementation team as a Business Consultant. Prior to joining BI-SAM, Adrien held a position of consultant for a Portfolio Management Software company.
All three of them will work closely with Steve Shefras, Head of Sales, who joined the company in 2008 in its New York office.
These appointments will drive BI-SAMâs growth in North America, where the company recently acquired its second direct client for performance and attribution.
âOur recent successes in North America and globally reflect the will and the capacity of BI-SAM to answer the asset management marketâs needs for more transparency in the investment process, management of the different exposures to risk and clarity of reporting. My arrival and the appointments of Pat and Adrien bring a wealth of experience and will further develop BI-SAMâs capabilities both regionally and globallyâ commented Christophe Volard.
