BI-SAM recruits a new Head of Research & Development to support its growth

BI-SAM today announced the appointment of Nicolas Frank as Head of Research & Development to strengthen the team.
During 2009 and 2010, BI-SAM has significantly expanded its global activities with new clients implementing its B-One product worldwide. Consequently, strategic organisational changes have been defined to increase the group’s capacity to respond to market needs.
Christophe Volard, co-founder of BI-SAM Group and previously Managing Director, has recently been appointed North America Chief Operating Officer and is now directing the group’s activities in this region from New York. Xavier Chaudé, another co-founder of the
group, who led the Research & Development team for 4 years, has been named as the group’s Managing Director.
BI-SAM’s Research & Development efforts are at the heart of the group’s innovation and expertise. Nicolas Frank’s appointment reinforces the team’s skill base with the aim of building on BI-SAM’s leading position.
Nicolas Frank, who has just joined BI-SAM, is in charge of the product management, development, help desk, support and quality assurance teams and is based in Paris.
He has more than 10 years experience in developing technical projects and platforms within the financial industry. He spent 5 years at Alcion within various projects such as the development of a risk and reporting platform for BNP Paribas PrimeBrokerage, before
heading the Research & Development team at Finance Active for the last 7 years.
