Misys Voted No.1 for Risk Management in Asia Risk Technology Survey for Third Year Running
Leading financial services professionals in Asia have voted Misys, the global financial application software and services company, as the number one solution provider for risk management in the region, according to the 2010 Asia Risk Technology Survey.
Misys was ranked in first place in the following three categories:
- Operational risk management
- Asset and liability management
- Enterprise risk management/cross-risk integration
The survey, a poll of sell-side and buy-side financial institutions in Asia, also ranked Misys in the top three most favoured technology vendors overall for the third year running. The accolade underlines the investment in the latest technology and support for its customers in the region, providing them with world-leading solutions, including Misys Summit FT, Opics Plus and its portfolio of risk management systems.
"We are very proud of our achievement in these rankings," states Lee Boon Huat, Asia Pacific Managing Director of Misys. "Coming first in so many categories and continuing the successes we have had in previous years proves the value we bring to our customers in Asia Pacific. We continue to invest in our products and services so that we can deliver market-leading solutions to enable our customers to manage risk effectively, plan for the future and stay ahead of the competition."
Asia Risk surveyed technology users in Asia in July 2010 and received 686 valid responses. Respondents were asked to nominate the companies that provide the best products across categories including market risk, credit risk, trading systems, analytics and front-to-back-office systems, based on functionality, usability, performance, return on investment and reliability.
As a professional financial risk management and derivatives flagship publication in the Asia Pacific region, Asia Risk magazine covers economic and regulatory risk capital, derivatives hedging instruments and structured products investments. It acts as a definitive guide for both the buy-side and sell-side.
