Aleri to Release New Version of Flagship CEP Platform

9 June 2008

Aleri Inc., a leading provider of enterprise-class complex event processing (CEP) technology, will preview version 3.0 of the Aleri Streaming Platform at SIFMA's 28th Annual Technology Management Conference & Exhibit, June 10th-12th in New York. Aleri will be providing live demos of version 3.0 of its CEP platform, in booth 2102, to showcase its new streamlined look and feel as well as its enhanced ease of use. The new release also features advanced pattern matching capabilities and integrated connectivity.

“Customer insight and market trends helped drive the comprehensive innovations to version 3.0 of our CEP platform,” said Jeff Wootton, Aleri’s vice president of product strategy. “Version 3.0 of the Aleri CEP platform has a streamlined look and feel that is designed to be more intuitive for new users and more efficient for experienced users.”

Beyond the new look and feel of the Aleri Streaming Platform, highlights include:

• Integrated Connectivity – a comprehensive set of built-in connecters for fast and convenient software installation.
• Advanced Pattern Matching capabilities – a new pattern matching syntax which makes it even easier to define complex patterns of events that can be automatically acted on.
• AleriML – Aleri’s xml-based event processing language that provides more efficient authoring whether working in a text editor or the visual editor within Aleri Studio.
• Enhanced scripting – Aleri’s procedural scripting language, SPLASH, which overcomes the limitations of SQL, has been enhanced with new data structures and greater control and is the industry’s only hybrid CEP platform that combines SQL with relational operations.
