Cal West Inspection and Audit Services has partnered with Advanced Management Systems (AMS) to develop a revolutionary combined inspection and premium audit management software product, Combined Management Suite (CMS), to the insurance fee inspection industry. The CMS System, comprised of Manage Suite, Mobile Suite and a Configurable Web Portal, will be the insurance industries premier software solution providing a seamless, groundbreaking level of communication between insurance company or broker, fee service vendor and field staff.
CMS was specifically designed to supplement the current environment of software tools available to fee vendors who are frequently challenged by the dynamic nature of their client’s technological demands. The collaborative effort using the unique expertise provided by Cal West Inspection and Audit Services’ management team ensured that the Inspection/Audit vendor’s needs were addressed, as well as those of the large insurance carriers and brokers.
Judy Carson, CPCU, ARM, Vice President of Cal West Inspection and Audit Services, stated, “We believe that we will be uniquely positioned to significantly raise the bar in our industry in terms of utilizing technology to exceed the needs of our current and future clients. AMS’ record of success in delivering software packages to major insurance carriers, and commitment to recognizing the tremendous value in producing a product that addresses the integration needs of insurance carriers, brokers and fee vendors will no doubt lead to a level of industry standardization that will have phenomenal ROI in terms of increased productivity, improved underwriting, and premium collection standards.”
CMS is specifically designed to help resolve difficulties in standardizing format and communications between carriers and vendors. The software application maintains flexibility while inheriting the desirable properties of full scale solutions. Combined Management Suite offers a new perspective to the Insurance Industry based on the common technological language and needs of both carriers and vendors, and provides solutions for a broad range of problems. For carriers, minimizing the time and effort required to place an inspection or premium audit order, obtain status, and process completed work can result in employees having much more productive time available for other tasks. For fee vendors, the ability to utilize the same management system as the carriers, MGA’s, or brokers removes the tremendous amount of overhead currently dedicated to manually “processing” orders, status requests, quality control and completed assignments.
According to Steven Adams, AMS’ Vice President of Client Services, “AMS is very excited about working with Cal West on this project. It isn’t often that you get the opportunity to tap into a company whose principal’s have such vast experience and background and are willing to share that information in order to create a truly superior product. And what makes this a superior product is what could be called configurability-within-standardization; configurable data interfaces, application presentation, and web portal appearance all supported by standardized structures under the covers. This concept allowed us to provide CalWest the flexibility they were looking for while enforcing industry standards for communicating the data.”
