Bravura Solutions wins NSW Premier Export Award for Information and Communication Technology

Sydney - 19 October 2007

Bravura Solutions Limited (Bravura) – a leading global supplier of wealth management applications and professional services – was last night awarded the NSW Premier Export Award for Information and Communication Technology.

The Premier's NSW Export Awards is an annual awards program that recognises excellence in the export of goods and services and acknowledges the contribution that these businesses make to the economy.

Bravura’s Group CEO and Managing Director, Iain Dunstan said: “It is a great honour to have won this award. We are proud to contribute to the New South Wales economy and will work to continue to make a positive impact on the state and country in the future.”

The award recognises Bravura’s exponential export growth since inception in 2004. Bravura began with 70 employees, 72 clients and offices in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane. In less than three years, Bravura has established an international presence employing more than 650 staff, servicing 175 clients across nine countries.

In FY06/07 Bravura derived 75 per cent of its revenue from overseas markets, up from 27 percent in FY05/06. This number is expected to increase during the current financial year.

The Awards were presented by The Honourable Morris Iemma (MP), NSW Premier and The Honourable Joe Tripodi (MP), Minister for Small Business during a ceremony at Sydney’s Star City Casino.

Winners of the NSW Premier Export Awards will go on to be national finalists at the Australian Export Awards on 22 November in Brisbane.
