Partnership Combines Advanced Data Fabric Technology with Concurrent Computing

(Nasdaq: QVDX) providing enterprise-class software components and services that facilitate high-performance application development, today announced a technology and business partnership that will allow customers to increase application performance and scalability while lowering operating costs.
The combined use of GemFire Enterprise Data Fabric (EDF) with the Rogue Wave® Hydra Suite will solve reliability and latency challenges to accelerate concurrent computing and improve the throughput of high-performance business applications.
The Rogue Wave Hydra Suite provides a comprehensive set of tools designed to speed application development and deliver agility and flexibility benefits without sacrificing performance. GemFire Enterprise adds distributed data caching and data management capabilities to the Rogue Wave Hydra service grid, improving data access and distribution to allow intelligent parallel processing across grid and SOA architectures.

The partnership leverages synergies between the GemStone and Rogue Wave Software offerings. GemFire Enterprise pools memory and disk to make data instantly and reliably accessible to multiple Rogue Wave Hydra runtime instances in a distributed environment. The advanced data virtualization, provisioning, and distribution capabilities intelligently feed data into the concurrent Rogue Wave Hydra processing environment and allow end-users to run applications significantly faster while decreasing operating costs. For existing GemFire Enterprise customers, Rogue Wave Hydra provides a high-performance runtime for orchestrating services.
