REUTERS DATASCOPE SELECT WINS SIX NEW CLIENTS IN ASIA

Reuters (LSE: RTR; NASDAQ: RTRSY) has added six new fund administration clients for Reuters DataScope Select in Asia in a series of deals driven by the need of fund administrators to improve service levels for their customers.

National Australia Bank Custodian Services (NCS), HSBC, Citigroup, Master Trust Bank of Japan, Bank of China, Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) have all chosen Reuters to provide its full depth and breadth of data, including fixed income evaluations, in the Asia Pacific region.

Reuters DataScope Select enables the banks to offer accurate and transparent pricing on a range of illiquid Asian assets. This in turn has allowed them to increase the level of service and pricing information they offer their customers, whilst reducing risks to themselves. Reuters DataScope Select fund administrators also have access to a cross asset view of Reuters’ real-time pricing and reference data via a single source. The solution was launched in Asia in March 2006.
