Iliad Solutions a leading supplier of advanced testing products and consultancy services for the card processing and payments industry, has licensed its t3 FasTest Regression platform for the UK Faster Payments initiative, to eFunds International Limited.
EFD | eFunds International, a leading core software and services solutions provider to financial institutions, will use Iliad’s software to optimise quality control of the Faster Payment gateway product they support.
"Iliad’s FasTest tools provide a user-friendly, intuitive interface, to simulate the Faster Payments Central Infrastructure (CI) allowing us to quickly set up, transmit and analyse transaction messages that will be sent to and from our FP Gateway. The test case analysis and reporting tools will also enable us to identify discrepancies easily and efficiently. We have found the tool to be very easy to use and significantly better than the alternative FPS test tools that we have used" said Ron Drake, Managing Director, EFD|eFunds International, EMEA. "Use of the tool has allowed us to significantly decrease our unit and regression testing times helping us to manage a number of Faster Payments projects efficiently and meet customer expectations".
t3 FasTest Regression is an integral component in the family of Faster Payments tools available from Iliad, including CI performance and additional Bank Side functionality and performance testing tools that have been launched by Iliad to support Faster Payments.
"We're delighted to have the opportunity to work with EFD to improve the effectiveness and productivity of their Faster Payments development testing," says Anthony Walton, Managing Director, Iliad Solutions. Added Walton, "Faster Payments has very challenging deadlines, automated end-to-end testing can save a substantial amount of time and effort, we are pleased to have contributed to the EFD rapid solution certification."
APACS recently announced that a new Faster Payments clearing and settlement service will be introduced in the UK to facilitate near real-time clearing of internet and telephone banking payments and standing orders for UK account customers. The Faster Payments Service requires Member Banks to clear transactions for bank customers in near real-time which will create significant new demands on processing infrastructure and systems, especially through the use of Single Immediate Payments generated through the internet and telephone banking channels.
