Financial Simplicity has announced the launch of a 'state of the art' personalised model portfolio rebalancing tool called 'Portfolio Express' to service the growing use of model portfolios across the retail investment industry. 'Portfolio Express' is easily available to investment advisers over the Internet. Portfolio Express can also be re-branded, configured and relocated to suit the specific needs of industry participants, whether they be platforms, dealer groups, brokers, or in-house and other vendor systems.

Stuart Holdsworth, Managing Director of Financial Simplicity comments 'Unlike expensive and proprietary alternatives, Portfolio Express is accessible and affordable, making it an attractive solution to businesses and other vendors seeking to offer model portfolio based solutions, yet avoid risky and costly development of complex portfolio modeling capabilities. Portfolio Express differs from many portfolio rebalancing solutions in the market in that it allows an adviser to also accommodate a number of client specific situations which are automatically considered into the rebalancing process, reducing effort and time in producing end recommendations to clients.''

Investment and broking platforms, as well other systems providers can easily link their systems with Portfolio Express using a standard set of open architecture API interfaces, allowing them to extend their offers without the need for such difficult development also. Portfolio Express also includes a Statement of Advice generator and the ability to route resulting orders back to the platforms for execution to make the end to end process of portfolio reviews simple and efficient. Financial Simplicity is already currently working with a number of brokers and platforms to integrate Portfolio Express with their web sites. A number of additional portfolio modeling enhancements are due for release in the coming months also.
