Richardson Brands Successfully Implements Digital Movers' EDI Outsourcing Service

Digital Movers announced today that it has successfully completed the migration of the Richardson Brands Company to its Host*EDI Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Outsourcing Service, which will improve value chain communication and customer satisfaction.

Digital Movers announced today that it has successfully completed the migration of the Richardson Brands Company (www.richardsonbrands.com) to its Host*EDI Electronic Data Interchange Outsourcing Service. Richardson Brands is a specialty manufacturer of candy and gum selling to both retail and corporate customers.

Host*EDI is a complete EDI outsourcing program including mapping and translation of EDI business documents and the secure exchange of inter-company business documents with trading partners. Digital Movers is providing Richardson Brands with all of the services of a complete EDI department including daily processing, tracking and archiving of electronic transactions with their customers.

The early results show that we have successfully improved our customer satisfaction while reducing the amount of EDI- related costs when compared to our previous in-house EDI program.
