ATERNITY REPORTS MARKET MOMENTUM AND 2007 MILESTONES AS LEADER OF FRONTLINE PERFORMANCE INTELLIGENCE

Boston, MA - 18 December 2007

Aternity Inc., the leader in frontline performance intelligence for Global 1000 enterprises, today announced a review of its major corporate achievements for the past twelve months.

Aternity highlights for 2007 include:

• Heightened Leadership & Capital Infusion – With an increased focus on expanding its global footprint throughout the US, EMEA, and Pacific Rim, the company announced Trevor Matz as President and CEO. A highly accomplished leader and IT industry veteran, Matz offers proven leadership and a track record of success in developing and executing business, sales, and marketing strategies. Prior to joining Aternity, Matz served as worldwide Managing Director, Application Integration for InterSystems Corporation, a leading provider of database and integration software.

To further grow the business, accelerate adoption, and continually deliver product innovation and excellence, Aternity also closed a Series B round of funding led by Intel Capital. In addition, existing investors (Vertex Venture Capital, Genesis Partners, Clal Industries and Investments LTD., and Portview Communications) reinforced their commitment by further supporting the round.

• Strategic Alignment with Intel & Oracle Broadens Market Reach to Millions – In addition to securing status as an Intel Capital portfolio company, Aternity formalized a business and marketing agreement with Intel Corporation, under which Aternity’s platform and services will be delivered as a virtual appliance for Intel® vPro™ systems. "Aternity uses Intel vPro processor technology and turns each PC into a self-monitoring platform that is user experience-aware,” said Gregory Bryant, Vice President and General Manager of Intel’s Digital Office Platforms Division. “Aternity brings impressive performance management value to enterprise IT.”

Recently, Aternity also announced a joint venture with Oracle and Israel’s chief scientist to deliver Aternity’s frontline performance intelligence to Oracle e-Business Suite customer base. “IT executives in our client base worldwide are held accountable for the performance and availability of Oracle business-critical E-Business applications,” said Moshe Horav, Oracle Vice President and Managing Director, Israel.

“Aternity provides them with in-depth visibility into how applications are performing from the perspective of the end-users on the business frontline, and with the information and metrics needed to rapidly identify and address performance challenges,” continued Horav. “We are very pleased to have formed a technology partnership that will enable our customers to optimize the performance of their IT infrastructure and, by extension, of their entire enterprise.”

• Vision & Product Excellence Embraced by Fortune 500 – Aternity has invested more than 100 man-years of development to deliver the industry’s first frontline performance intelligence platform. In 2007 the company ran a highly successful early adopter program, yielding more than a dozen companies either currently deploying its platform or completing Proof of Concept (POC) projects for Q1 2008 deployment. Aternity will formally launch in the US in Q1 2008.

Over the past year, the company worked closely with many of the top twenty capital market and asset management institutions, along with leading insurance companies, to accurately monitor and analyze application performance and productivity from the end-users’ perspective. For example, Migdal a subsidiary of the Generali Group, the third largest insurer in Europe and among the top twenty worldwide, is engaged with Aternity to improve business results and IT efficiency. “With Aternity it's possible for the IT staff to identify performance issues and to determine the extent and impact of the emerging situation before end-users on the frontline are aware of the problem,” said Gili Klein, CIO of Migdal. “The result will be a major increase in the efficiency of IT specialists in addressing performance issues and a significant decrease in business disruption.”

Aternity has also worked with leading healthcare providers, manufacturers, independent software vendors (ISVs), and leading systems integrators (SIs) to provide preemptive problem detection and comprehensive frontline performance awareness. “With Aternity, we can accurately measure frontline performance impact and implement necessary IT changes proactively,” explained David Rudzinsky, CIO of Hologic, a leading medical technology manufacturing company. “Problems are resolved before any business disruption occurs and risks associated with application and infrastructure changes can be dramatically reduced."
