AEMS selects Atrium Network for secure connectivity

London - 11 December 2007

AEMS, the leading global provider of technology solutions for exchanges, clearing houses, banks, and intermediaries announced the selection of Atrium Network, as provider of extranet solutions connecting the financial community. Using Atrium Network’s secure connectivity, AEMS will be able to offer clients secure and easy access via a single extranet provider to AEMS’ front and back office applications.

Dominique Durand, Head of Capital Markets at AEMS added, “The financial services community is looking for ways to meet their MiFID obligations including best execution, smart order routing, pre and post trade transparency requirements. We believe it is essential to find ways to deploy and connect our solutions using high performance, reliable, scaleable and secure connectivity.”

As explained by Emmanuel Carjat, Chief Executive of Atrium Network, “Many financial services organisations now rationalise their external connectivity by using an extranet. At Atrium Network we take this to a new level – managing community extranet connectivity, intranet and internet connectivity. Our clients are now able to rationalise their connectivity whilst maintaining or enhancing their security. End clients and major service providers like AEMS are also looking for choice in their external connectivity – both in terms of the technology available and in terms of price.”
