(ASX: BVA) – Bravura Solutions Limited (Bravura) - a leading supplier of wealth management applications and professional services – has been selected as part of the 25 Rising Stars List for the Managing Information Strategies (MIS) Strategic 100.
Each year MIS Australia takes a look at the IT vendor community. The companies profiled are compiled through suggestions from expert judges and MIS editorial teams around the world. The companies selected are often new businesses that show signs of seriously influencing the way technology is bought or deployed.
According to the MIS judging panel, many of these companies will see rapid growth, acquisition or significantly increased presence in the enterprise over the next 12 months.
“Bravura Solutions are very pleased to have been selected for the 25 Rising Stars List. Our appearance on this list is an indication that we’re on the radar of CIO’s from leading financial institutions, who have become aware of us in their local markets,” said Iain Dunstan, Group CEO and managing director of Bravura Solutions.
Dunstan reminisced that it has been just over two years since Bravura was established from a management buy out that acquired the wealth management division of CSC Australia. At the time there were 72 clients, 70 employees and three offices.
“Today we have over 150 clients, 600 staff and 14 offices in eight countries. With the company’s revenue growing 210 per cent in 2006, we have definitely experienced rapid expansion,” he said.
The 2006 MIS Strategic 100 judging panel included:
Phillip Allen who runs IDC Australia’s vertical market practice. He draws on more than 10 years’ experience in the IT industry across professional services, sales and marketing.
Bruce McCabe who is one of Australia’s most respected technology analysts. For a decade, he has provided research, analysis and advice to most of Australia’s top 200 corporations and to agencies in every state and for the federal government.
