Silkeborg - Reuters, the global information company, today announced that Jyske Bank A/S, the second largest independent bank in Denmark, will be taking Reuters Market Data System (RMDS) in addition to 70 positions of Reuters premium desktop product, Reuters 3000 Xtra, at its head office in Silkeborg. 3000 Xtra will replace a third-party front end at Jyske Bank, in addition to displacing a number of competitor products. Jyske Bank will also be upgrading its existing Reuters 2000 datafeed to the latest version of Reuters Data Feed.
Reuters 3000 Xtra is a real-time, high-performance information service for financial professionals and will be used widely across the trading floor and in market analysis in Jyske Bank. RMDS manages financial content in real-time across trading environments and will be deployed by the bank to feed both 3000 Xtra in addition to other business-critical solutions such as risk management.
Loris Barisa, Managing Director at Reuters for the Nordics and Baltics, comments: "By taking RMDS together with an upgraded datafeed and Reuters 3000 Xtra, Jyske Bank will benefit from an enterprise wide solution that delivers a flexible data distribution system together with a premium desktop and a wealth of value added data and analytics."
Per Molgaard Andersen, Head of Market Data Management at Jyske Bank, comments: "Jyske Bank considers Reuters a well-established partner, who has proven its ability when it comes to good service. RMDS will enable us to integrate data to a much higher extent than we are currently able to do, bringing value to our users' workflow."
