The size of the contract was not disclosed, but initially the company will use SAND Searchable Archive to manage its transaction history. This initial project will allow NACF to compress huge amounts of transaction log data for greater storage efficiency, but will still enable users to rapidly access the data directly for analytical purposes, without having to first decompress it.

"The high compression rates will result in significant storage savings without compromising the ability for our users to access the data quickly when they need it. We are excited to be working with SAND and with TOPEND Technology as the project managers."
