Syntel Declares Regular Quarterly Dividend

Troy, MICH -- December 13, 2004 -- The Board of Directors of Syntel (NASDAQ: SYNT) declared a regular dividend on December 6, 2004 of six cents ($0.06) per share, on Syntel's common stock, payable on January 14, 2005 to holders of record at the close of business on December 31, 2004.
