Misys Banking & Securities Division Welcomes Timothy Murphy as US Global Account Manager

New York, London; 21 July 2003 - Timothy Murphy has been selected to serve as the US Global Account Manager for Misys Banking & Securities Division. In his role, Mr. Murphy will oversee teams to develop strategic business and account plans for each of Misys' customers and prospects. He will maintain and establish senior level relationships within the banks to enable the Banking & Securities Division to represent Misys' core capabilities to its customers with a consistent message across its global service offerings.

Mr. Murphy joins Misys with more than 15 years of international sales management experience in the financial industry. His knowledge of Wall Street firms together with his track record of information technology sales is considered a major asset for Misys. In his three years as vice president of sales at Moneyline Telerate in New York, Mr. Murphy was a key member of the management team who oversaw the acquisition of Telerate from Bridge. He was also responsible for implementing a Global Accounts Program for the

Prior to Moneyline, Mr. Murphy was with Reuters where he was the global accounts director for institutions such as Deutsche Bank and Bear Stearns. During his 10 year career with Reuters, he was involved with various international sales management roles in the U.S. and Middle East. He completed his MBA at Boston University following several years military service as an officer with the Irish Army.
