| Responsibilities: • Achieve annual license and services order-intake targets. • Generate leads through territory planning, cold-calling, networking and other prospecting techniques. • Qualify leads through evaluation of prospect needs relative to Banking solutions offered by our firm. Develop understanding of prospects’ decision-making processes and criteria. • Develop, and be comfortable with, senior level relationships within prospect and client. • Proactively own the sales process and be able to handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously. • Must possess an outgoing personality, have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be able to operate well in a team environment. • Must be familiar with classic selling techniques and strategies. • Reports to Banking Sales Manager. Requirements: • Must be conversationally fluent within the domain of financial technology for core banking, including international banking, trade finance, and payments. • 5+ years successful track record in selling banking applications. • Should be comfortable with sales cycles that are typically six months to one year (or greater) in duration. • Must work well with little direction and, with periodic pressure to meet deadlines. • Should be acutely aware of the importance of paying attention to detail. • Must be familiar with industry software license agreements and the key issues associated with such. • New York based with extensive travel. |
