Our client is a very well established and leading provider of investment software & research solutions to institutional asset managers, hedge funds and wealth managers. As part of their US growth plans on the East Coast where they have clients but little presence on the ground, they intend to hire their first sales professional based in New York. On the back of great success already selling their proven portfolio analysis and research solutions, this is a great new business sales opportunity, with the freedom and autonomy to develop business in the Tri-State region.


We welcome hearing from interested sales professionals in the New York / New Jersey region with the following sort of experience and skill-set:
- Experience selling to the buy side - long only asset managers / mutual funds, wealth management firms or hedge funds with a good network / rolodex of contacts. It’s mist likely this experience will have been gained working for either a software company, financial information/market data or research service provider.
- Experience and knowledge in front/middle office investment research and/or portfolio analytics would be preferred.
- A proven track record of hitting / exceeding new business sales targets. Must be recognised as a sales hunter, with the ability to establish the first contact, and manage the sales process end-to-end with multiple deals to juggle.
- The ability to pick up solutions which are new and unique in the market.
- Have the personal motivation and ability to contribute to a dynamic and entrepreneurial team culture.

This sales position will be appropriate for a 'stand out' sales professional looking for a more 'unique' proposition with proven sales potential and an untapped market to go after.
