CityIQ reveal the “hot topics” for investment managers in 2010

The results of a recent CityIQ survey, designed to identify the “hot topics” for the investment management community in 2010 have just been announced.

From a list of over 30 topics, respondents identified the following three areas as being of most
concern:

1. Managing the gap between IT and the Business
2. Coping with Regulatory Changes
3. Managing Relationships with Vendors

Announcing the results Paul Wiltshire, Managing Director at CityIQ commented: “Despite the additional challenges of the last twelve months, many of the topics highlighted as being of most concern have been around for years. The industry continues to be worried about the way that IT and the business inter-relate, about data quality, about regulation and about how to get the best from software vendors.”

About the Survey

Seventy six respondents from over 50 City institutions took part in the survey, conducted during the final quarter of 2009. A copy of the findings can be downloaded from the CityIQ web site.
